A: Results will typically last for up to 4 months, and with repeat treatments, results may last longer. Factors affecting longevity are thought to include a higher than normal metabolism and some medical conditions where treatment duration times may not be as long.
A: Point bleeding at the site of injection is very common and usually resolved by the time the treatment has finished. Small bruises, sometimes swelling, redness and stinging are common. Headaches and cold symptoms may also be experienced by some individuals. In very rare cases, ptosis may occur, it involves a drooping of the eyelid or brow and is a temporary complication. Your Injector will discuss all of the above during your initial treatment consult.

FILLERS
A: Fillers produce instant results and continue to settle into facial tissue for a few weeks after.
A: Side effects may include minor pain, redness, lumpiness and swelling. Fillers contain local anaesthetic so you should feel comfortable for a couple of hours after treatment. Minor discomfort after this time is common but generally resolved with paracetamol.
A: In rare cases, the injection of filler may stop the flow of blood in a vessel, or the bevelled needle may damage a blood vessel which prevents the un-nourished skin tissue from getting its blood supply resulting in a wound to that area or tissue death. Fortunately, Bellafache Injectors come equipped to handle this medical emergency and can resolve the issue straight away by using medication to dissolve the filler before the damage escalates. This is a very rare event but should be given due consideration before treatment.
A: Your Injector should provide you with a list of post-treatment guidelines, but generally there is very little downtime following dermal filler and you can return to day-to-day activities straight away.
